at the Sundial this past summer and it worked out really well for us. It was a very convenient location. We did ok shelling. We had two kids with us - ages 9 & 3. They both liked Cheeburger - it's an inexpensive meal and it was standard burgers and fries. If you like that, you'll like Cheeburger. We also really liked Timbers and the Sanibel Grill. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. We are also fans of the Lazy Flamingo. I'd recommend picking up bagels from the Sanibel Bean. My kids loved them. We ate at Gully's because we happened to be at Periwinkle Place and it was not good at all. I would not recommend it.
If you are going to eat in Captiva, my whole family likes RC Otters.
