My wife and I have been vacationing in Sanibel for about 18 years. The Seahorse Cottages is a nice scluded place with a pool. The Parrot Nest(www.parrotnest.com) is a nice quiet old florida style place with no pool. It is next door to the Lighthouse Cafe. GREAT BREAKFAST! the public beach area at the Sanibel Lighthouse is just up the street. Both places are very close to each other. I am not very familiar with the other two locations. There is also a very nice secluded place on West Gulf Drive called the Blue Dolphin Cottages. They put on a continental breakfast and they are right on the beach,no pool. All umbrellas chairs etc are included.(www.bluedolphincottages.com)Very friendly staff.
