May is considered low season, you should be able to find something near $750. I did a quick check at www.vip-vacationrentals.com and found a few places and some were 2 bedrooms. Make sure the complexes are gulf front, there were some for Marinter Pointe and that complex is not gulf front. I even found one at Pointe Santo in building C, great location, the complex is like a horseshoe and C is on the back part of the horseshoe. People who are looking for those kind of deals in March won't find them, March is high season. If you go in high season you have to expect to pay more. I've been going to Sanibel for 10 years, usually in November and I don't think the price increase has been more than $150. Check with other rental companies, I'm sure there are more to be found.
