Subject: Suggestions? Boat rentals?

Hi, we're heading for Sanibel this weekend for a week. My girlfriend and I are going with my parents, as well as my brother's family (three young children). Any suggestions for daytime activities, with or without the kids? I love boating, and thought about renting a powerboat to explore the area. Is this practical? Any suggestions on where to rent?

We're staying at the Island Inn.
