Subject: Post Charley?

I used to read this board quite regularly. It seems very quiet and as if there is very little traffic here.

I have been to Sanibel/Captiva many times and have visited once since Charley. My question is, what's up with the island? I remember right after the hurricane there was a plan to rebuild Perriwinkle with trees. Has it happened? I read about many restaurants closing. Have things remained? I also notice prices are sky high when I inquire. What has changed or grown or recovered during the last few years?
