I've been listening to KKM since 1994 (while in Waco and Dallas). When I moved to Memphis in 2003 I truly missed listening to them. It was so good to have them in the Memphis market for the past few months.

While I understand that this format change is a "business decision", the station will find it's not a very good one. The format is not strong enough to survive in the Memphis market. That is not to say the THE BUZZ was the answer, but SNAP is definitely a mistake. I haven't seen the numbers, but I would imagine Kidd Kraddick was an improvement to morning drive. Whoever the powers that be are listening to/consulting with about switching from Buzz to Snap (AND consequently dropping KKM) are making an expensive, idiotic mistake.

With that said, what is the liklihood that:
1) these posts are going to get read by the right people to put this morning show back on the 94.1 frequency, or
2) get kidd on another station in Memphis?

Guaranteed... whatever station picks Kidd up will earn a loyal fan base... black, white, red, yellow, or otherwise.
