Hey guys, I sent an email to the vice president of marketing for that station too... Here are the results:
To whom it may concern:

I just wanted you to know that I do not even listen to secular music (I listen to K-love, the Contemporary Christian music station), but I tune in to wherever Kidd Kraddick is going to be on. The show is so funny, and family friendly. I moved to Memphis in March, and personally don't think any of the stations here are very good, but Kidd makes it worth listening to. I wonder if all of your expensive research told you how wildly popular KKITM is. I will never listen to your station, the Buzz, or Snap, or whatever as long as you take off Kidd. Just for the record, I have friends in the number of at least 50 or 60 from my church that only listen to Kidd, and then change the station, so I am not alone. You will lose a fan-base typically ignored if you permanently cancel KKITM.

Thank you for writing and expressing your thoughts in regards to KKITM.
There were many that loved listening to the show, including me, however
the research did justify a change in format on 94.1 to SNAP.

I am told, which you may want to share with the 50 or 60 from your
church, that you can go to Kidd's website and listen to the show there
if you want tio continue to enjoy KKITM.

Steve,

Although I appreciate the sentiment, I am not able to bring a computer
with me in the car to listen to the show on the way to work - which is
when everyone else in creation listens to it as well. If you could
come up with a way in which all of us could get laptops, then have an
uninterrupted wireless connection in the car as we travel the miles
from home to work, I might actually listen to "Snap 94.1" in
gratitude. By the way - someone needs to do $100,000 in research on
better names for radio stations.
