As we all know, Memphis radio DJ's are not that great. The music is generally good but the DJ's leave a LOT to be desired. The Kidd Kraddick morning show is the one bright thing about the morning radio here and for it to be gone is truly saddening.

The disappointing alternatives range from:

107.5 Karson and Kennedy � Karson�s stuttering gets worse when he�s nervous, he often rants about things that are not interesting OR are hurtful, Kennedy laughs at her own jokes, and their side-kick sounds drunk and rarely has anything worth-while to say. To top it off, the awkward silences on this station are just plain painful!

98.1 Drake and Zeke � they are ok, a little to redneck at times, and all they do is read and re-read the most random news. I�d like them better IF they could speak with proper grammar and loose the vulgar commentary between sentences. It�s not so amusing when I�ve only been awake for 20 minutes.

102.7 I�m not sure who their morning radio show is � it�s so boring that I only seem to last with them for about 3 minutes before I tune out

104.5 I�m equally not sure who their morning show is because � their play list is more my moms age group so I can�t stomach their station until late evening (if even that)

99.7 I like the music on this station but the DJ�s don�t talk enough. KKITM, if I was you and wanted to market to a specific station, I think this is your best bet. The DJ�s here are ok and they don�t spend a lot of time chatting so I end up turning the station.

In the morning I want KKITM and as much as I hate it in the morning, I�ll chose NPR or my iPod over the alternatives when I�m in the car and don�t have internet access.
