The legal parts of the story are extremely well done, but the writing style is somewhat distinct to me as well - I'm pretty sure this had been done either by McRose (it's rather long, so a team effort is likely) or Janlaw.

As much as I wouldn't wish anything as bad to have happened to Mac, it sure would have saved us a lot of the horrors 'inflicted' upon us during season 9.
