�	Welcome to our sixth JAG ficathon! For this round, our talented authors chose their prompts from a selection of movie quotes. Using their prompts, they've written a wonderful selection of stories about our heroes and their lives. So fix yourself a cold drink, settle down in a comfortable chair, and join the fun. - Well, this is typical Mac to carry the whole burden on her shoulders and not realizing that actually Harm was equally if not more so responsible for their relationship. She was always the one on the show that had to go to Harm and it continues in fanfiction..lol.   - Harm and Mac both blamed themselves for the state of their relationship before the engagement. They never blamed each other. They both shouldered the load. Which is why Harm told Mattie that his father's death hurt him deep and he never let anyone close, right before he said he loved Mac. He offered to be part of her life at the dining out and came to her on Christmas Eve when she needed him and still offered to have a life with her. He waited for her, and told her to come to him when she was ready because she wasn't ready to talk or to be with him when he offered. (NT) -- **, 14:07:40 12/23/07 Sun [1]
    - Don't really agree with this assessment. It was always shown in the show that Mac was the one who always had to go to Harm and work it out. I never saw Harm take responsibility for his bad behavior or blame himself, he always pointed out Mac flaws and mistakes to her face and gave half a*** apologies. Harm made a gesture at the dining out, but in the end when they were getting along and were sent to different billets, Mac was the one that had to go to Harm and talk about us. Even when Harm went to Mac's apartment when she was packing he couldn't and wouldn't take the next step, Mac had to.
