Where do I start? This was so beatifully crafted, from gorgeous description (a favorite, "fault lines in a parched riverbed")to in-character, well-paced interaction that ran the length of it til the very last line. But what stood out most for me was how you were able to create a tension so taut AFTER declarations of love were already established--and that without graphic sex! Wow! Give the mystery author a prize!!! I got mine in reading this piece!
