The general consensus seems to be doc, but I'm not so sure. It seems like I heard somewhere that ambulances do not have room for a person to "ride along". And in the extreme case that a person *was* allowed to ride, they would have to be up front with the driver, not in the back. If that is true, then I can't imagine doc stretching reality like that without an A/N at the beginning. Just a hunch. As for another guess about the author, I have no idea! LOL
