Subject: When you can't make a meeting

Since I have been out of schick (Oct.31) I have been going to meetings on Monday on a pretty regular basis. However for the last month my life has been hectic and that hasn't worked out for me.But I have found that if I make the time to do something nice for someone else, even if it is an email to say have a great day to someone who hasn't been having great days it makes me have a better day. Don't get me wrong it doesn't replace meetings but it helps in a pinch.Last Monday I could have gone to a meeting but I went and cleaned my moms house from top to bottom, she is coming home soon from her other home in Calif.and it made me feel truly happy. So keep in mind that if you can't do what you need to do for yourself try doing something for someone else you may be surprised at how it makes you feel.See you at schick soon.Remember if you are having a problem smiling think I'm a sober person, it makes you smile every time!
