Hi,

In case you didn't see my introduction elsewhere, my name is Kathleen S and I graduated from Schick in August 2005. I wrote the book: "Drink Up! A Recovery Road Less Traveled" about my experiences at Schick Shadel.

Since my "graduation", I have reclaimed my life and am doing the best I probably have ever done.

Like Nanette, I was a binge drinker whose whole life revolved around alcohol: planning, drinking, recovering, covering, feeling guilty, hating myself, planning, drinking, etc. over and over again.

I continue to have no cravings and have been able to put the energy that formerly went into the drinking process into a health counseling practice.

For me, Schick was the answer to my prayers. I truly was at the end of my rope. Now I feel like I'd like to live to be 100 so I can accomplish all my dreams.

Are there any problems anybody's experiencing after rehab that they'd like to talk about? Sometimes hearing from people who have been there is a big help.

Good mental and physical health to you all!
