 VENEZUELA NA VANGUARDA DO CRESCIMENTO
Em 2006 — pelo segundo ano consecutivo — a República Bolivariana da Venezuela terá a mais alta taxa de crescimento de todo o continente. É o que prevê o Balanço preliminar elaborado pela Comissão Económica das Nações Unidas para a América Latina e Caribe (CEPAL). A estimativa para o crescimento do PIB venezuelano em 2006 é de 10 por cento (em 2005 este fora de 9 por cento).
