But yes, in case you were wondering, the new miniseries ("Mind Wide Open: Starting Back At Zero") is still in the 'notebook' phase. But VERY little has actually been written at the moment.

I made a mention of the story a few times, but never really went into too much detail, mostly because it won't be ready for a long long time. There's definitely some research involved. You've got to remember, Zero has been around for over 120 years, and this story is going to go back to the early 1900's at least. And the idea is to chronicle his exploits in different time periods as he pops in and out of hiding underground.

When it's finished, you'll get to see a much more 'sane' version of Zero, and discover how the circles and the mental breakdown began. You'll see him in the 'Big Al' gangster prohibition era, Great Depression, 80's designer drug craze, and plenty of other time periods to see how he changed from time to time. Also there will be a small chapter about him and the vampire Versai (The last living vampire that battle the Justin's Mimic predecessor), his life in hiding after being chased and hunted for being though of as the next destructive Mimic born into darkness, and it will end somewhere around the time where he has to build himself a fortress underground with human bodyguards to survive. (Which is where Justin goes to visit him for the first time)

So it's still coming, and I'm really excited about doing it! But I'm afraid that it's a long way off from being anywhere close to finished. Not even the first chapter. But keep your eyes open! Because I'd love to really make it an awesome spinoff!
