Not bad. It's definitely not your stereotypical vampire movie, which was pleasing.Although I enjoyed the move,I agree with TurtleBoy that it lacked a certain something. It could have been so much more than what it was.As for any lack in action scenes, I honestly don't feel it needed more action.I think too many movies focus too much on action while ignoring the story. Some movies are all action and NO story, which is fine once in a while, but I like movies with substance.I think an example of an action movie with a good story is the matrix.I found the plotline to be very intriguing. The action, rather than being unnecessary and taking away from the movie, actually fit into the movie and added to the story. The special effects helped the viewer understand the dynamics of how the matrix works.Sure, it could be explained with with words, but as Morpheus said "you have to see it for yourself".Daybreakers had alot more potential, but it's still good as it was and I would recommend it.those who haven't seen it....should.
