Hunters occasionally DO use guns when they hunt. It all depends on the hunter and the target. (For example, one of the hunters in the IceZone club had rotating turrets on each arm and sprayed the room)

Also, there are times when hunters go with a 'squad' of other soldiers who use guns, even if the hunter doesn't. (Like the one in Dash's sanctuary)

The thing about guns and the hunters...they've been altered and enhanced scientifically to amplify their extras. And they train their extras to a point where they're almost perfect! And since they can manipulate those extras with their thoughts and emotion alone, they work BETTER than a gun. Faster too. So that's pretty much what they rely on as their main weapon.

And of course...as you guys said...the thril of the hunt is everything. Hehehe! I imagine they'd prefer that personal touch of a face to face beatdown! :)
