Sorry that it took a while dude! I've been writing sooooo much lately! It's ridiculous! Hehehe!

Anyway, here goes:

1) Where did I get the info to start GFD? Actually, I've ALWAYS loved vampires! Ever since I was really little (STILL an insomniac) I wouldn't go to sleep at night, and I'd watch the old black and white movies that came on late at night. And my favorites was Bela Legosi's "Dracula". Always. Then "Fright Night", "Near Dark", "Interiew With The Vampire", etc came along, and I was hooked. I've always been a huge vampire nut! And especially when they did something to change or modernize the concept with something different. Like "30 Days Of Night", "Blade", "Thirst", "Daybreakers"...I LOVE those ideas!!! And I wanted to create my OWN take on the genre and make it unique. So I took all of the legends that I knew about, read up on them, and added my own ideas and terminology and all to make it as real as humanly possible for everybody reading. Especially from a teenager's point of view. The first person I EVER let read "GFD" was JT The Lizard (Drew Greyfox), and I told him that I was aiming for a cross between "New Kid In School" and "The Lost Boys". So when he wrote back, ECSTATIC about the story so far, I decided to post it for everybody else to see. And the rest is...well...history. Hehehe!

2) Whenever I mention a vampire going into hiding, it literally means getting off of the streets and trying to keep themselves out of the Elder's sight. So that's why things like Dash's sanctuary and all are necessary. It's being removed from the sight of hunters, assassins and all that. That's all.

3) As for cameos....YES, there will be more in the future! Even in other author's takes on the story, there are cameos from Gyro, Taryn, Dion...I've seen many. And in "Lost In Shadow" (as well as the upcoming "GFD: Dead Language") there are mention of the 'Mimic' RUMOR and the myth or conspiracy thery that he is walking amongst the vampire population now. Also expect to see more cameos in "Taryn's Song", as well as future solo stories involving Trevor, and another series dedicated completely to the life experience of Zero.

4) I can't really TELL you what the 'Vampire Dawn' is. It's something you will have to discover for yourself as the rest of the story unfolds. The same way Justin can't simply be told about it either. It's something that grows as an 'understanding' about life and love as he gains experience and learns to battle his own demons along the way. What I CAN say...is that I was very careful in writing this entire series, even ten years ago...and the answers Justin needs have been given to him in EVERY SINGLE CHAPTER since the story began. He simply can't see them yet. But I made sure to write them out for all to see. :) Why is Justin the chosen one? Because many others have made choices that either prevented them from making the changes needed, or they simply went mad with power and anger. With the exception of a few...who are mentioned in the "Nights Eternal" hapter when Justin goes to the Nifty Archive.

5) Hmmmm....can't tell you about this one. I'll just say that Justin's premonitions are scrambled, and only go so far before he's returned to a part of the circle he's willing to 'accept' at this point.

6) Justin is in a HEAVY search to find someone to help him with his extras. But neither Comicality, Tim, Zero, or anyone else has provided him with a sufficient answer for how to conquer his own abilitis just yet. Bryson and Jun are trying to help, but they can't do it either. So the Jeweler becomes necessary. And THAT....hehehe....well, let's just say that the Jeweler is a whole other ballgame in terms of the story and what Justin is supposed to do with the message he's being given. Hehehe!

7) Justin's darker side is a growing manifestation of his madness. Attempting to lead two lives, keep secrets, and restrain what it is he really feels. The other 'personality' is growing stronger as Justin continues to hide his true self from the people around him. It's similar to the Beast, which was born from Comicality trying to suppress his own needs in order to help others. Justin is doing the same. The challenges will get MUCH harder as time goes on...and in order to face them, he might find himself tapping into a part of himself that he would rather stay hidden. It's almost like a closeted boy going off to college (if you can imagine). It was easier to hide when you were scared and you've known everybody in your school sine you were ten years old or younger. But when you go to colege, and away from home, away from your comfort zone, away from your parents, away from your friends...and might be interacting with other cute gay boys or whatever....maybe that part of you that you've been hiding is gaining the courage to 'peek out' every once in a while. And soon, the conflict grows as to who you WANT to be, and who you've 'built' yourself up to be. That inner conflict happens to all of us at some point, I think...and it's a part of growing up. We define ourselves, and then wonder if that definition was the correct one...or if there was something deeper. For Justin, he has an entirely foreign personality within him that was born out of pain and misery and depression. He has to 'choose' whether or not that part of him is stronger than the person he allows everyone else to see.

So yeah...that's sort of what THAT'S about! Hehehe!

Anyway, I can't give too much away yt. But I can guarantee you...everything that has happened in the story so far has a purpose and a meaning. And it WILL show itself in the final chapters of the series! So keep your eyes peeled, and you just might solve the puzzle before it's released! Hehehe! ::Winks::
