If you were made into a vampire, to spend eternity walking the Earth with the ones you love and cherish as an immortal...
Would your life still have the same meaning? Would your actions be the same? Remember...you won't EVER die, unless you choose to, or are murdered by another. Without a mortality...without aging...without the pressure of that ticking clock...what significance would your life have?
Could you still find meaning and purpose in the many MANY years that you had ahead of you? Would 'youth' hold the same allure, if you kept it forever? Would you still treasure life, or find yourself caring less about it now that it's guaranteed to go on until you choose for it to stop?
Let me know your thoughts on this!
DOES immortality erase the need for purpose and and an urgent need to fulfill one's destiny before it's 'too late'? What does life look like to someone who will ALWAYS have it?
