You say:
"but you avoid the inevitable response of every religious and politically conservative group in the world"

Getting a response of every religious and politically conservative group is a good thing. It means lots and lots of free publicity. It also means more people will want to see it.Any movie that inspires religious and politically conservative groups to be up in arms over will suddenly become, for many, more desirable to watch.

By the way, I only started reading Gone from daylight(or "GFD", as you all here call it) 3 days ago.I came across this forum, and after reading a few posts, wondered what all the ruckus was about. So on Friday, I started reading it.I love it.It's thrilling to read.

I've already read all 12 books.I finished book 12 tonight.I'm hoping there will be a book 13.I'd hate to think the story just ends like that, with Justin at the laundromat getting a horrible vision of Dion's death. If that IS how the author is ending the story, I'll be pretty pissed.
