 They were not telling him to go in a inmate's cell who had a weapon and disarm him.....now that would have been a unreasonable order. The order not to use the door was reasonable. If he felt that they were singling him out, he should have documented it. We have always been told by the union to document everything. Did he approach a union stewart about it? The hearing does not mention it. Hate to say it but he thought he was above his supervisors and set himself up for failure. Management had all the trump cards in this hearing.
