Easy- We stop the bullshit. We stop treating each other like we are just co-workers. We stop stealing from, cheating on, fucking with, and shitting on our brothers and sisters. We stop writing up,we stop complaining, we stop calling in on holidays to fuck the next guy, we stop looking to retire looking for a bogus harrassment charge, we stop fucking people on swaps, and we put in check those who do. We start realizing that we have 1 year in and we have ALOT to learn from the guys with time in. We get off the rosters with 1 year in and dictating where we will work. We stop blaming administration for asking us for a sick note for our 25th bang. We stop coming in shitfaced, and going home sick an hour later. We make the time to go to our fellow officer's wakes and funerals, even though it might take time from your fucking world of warcraft game. We donate to a collection for those who need it. We pay attention to our partner who is out doing a round instead of sleeping in the back room. We stop the prank calls, the juvenile rumors, and we stop we are entitled to respect because of our 6 months in. We have the nuts to say no to a con, do our job, and take back our fucking prison. We stop treating the cons like friends because we are scared. We start treating them like cons. We stop taking the easy route out of our day by coddling them and treat them like the murderers, rapists, and pedophiles they are. We stop being their friend because it makes our day easier. We have the fucking balls to correct the con who runs his mouth about the loss of one of our brothers, or his family, instead of giving the false promise that you will "deal with him later". We stop on the road when we see a brother in an accident, we stop putting in for a hardship you dont deserve. Stop fist-tapping the fucking cons. Stop telling the cons your business and the business of your fellow officers. Stop bringing in your cell phone and texting all day from work and your hospital trip, then posting it to facebook. Stop bringing in subs for "your" cons and trying to rationalize it. Stop talking to the cons like they are your fucking friends and act like a fucking officer. The rest will fall in place. Its time the solid guys take this place back. Feel free to post a stupid post about a blue line sticker here you fucking coward.
