Subject: To me poise would be standing tall (posture) the way she carries herself, chin up, smiles etc.
In reply to: 's message, "What are judges looking for in poise in a Natural pageant? Poise is 20% of the total score in one we're going to soon. The total is 20% beauty, 20% poise, 10% personality and 10% overall appeal....tia!!" on 12:39:13 03/14/07 Wed

[> I agree with the previous post, but I also associate poise with your child moving to the x's in a proper, smooth fashion(not running all over the stage). Of course they are children and will deviate some, but the more they seem to understand about the way the stage is layed out, the better in my opinion. Of course smaller ones will be walked by mom, but do they go where they are asked to go or are they running in circles?..lol. -- Judge's opinion., 10:10:06 03/16/07 Fri [1]
