Subject: Cover Miss State Pageant - 8 month old boy photo

My son is 8 months old, will be 10 months at the pageant. He does WONDERFUL during the whole thing but his pictures aren't what I would call the best.

What do I need for this pageant? Professional or digital snapshots? Enhanced or not? Photogenic is part of the overall score so I really need to step it up.

Does he need a big smile? More of a serious look? Close up of his face? Does he need to look at the camera?

I was thinking of a black and white, close up, with his very very blue eyes still blue in the picture. Or are they not looking for that?

With baby girls, its so much easier to tell what the judges would want but boys, so much harder.
