Subject: First Night of 9" Racing Author: Shopmom [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 14:13:53 04/15/08 Tue First 9" Madness Race was a little low on cars but, high on excitement. First round Jay Moore and Chad Clark, Jay took the win as Chad had a small problem with his Mustang. Just a little oops forgot to plug something in. That's racing!! Pat McKinney and Derik Lewis were up next. Pat took the win. David Green and Pop's Blair were up next and wow what a race. The Mustang took the Vette by a hole shot. ET was a 5.6457 to a 5.6325. Kelly Duncan was driving Jay Moore's back-up Camaro and got the bye run. Second Round Pop's Blair was the fastest loser when the Camaro was unable to continue on. Pop's went up against Jay Moore. Pop's won but Jay made him work for it. Pat took on David's Mustang and it was another exciting race. Final round was Pat in his Pontiac and Pop's Blair in his Chevy. Pop's took Pat at the tree and blew the tires off trying to take the Blackbird but, it was not meant to be. Winner Pat McKinney and Runner-up Richard (Pop's) Blair. Great night of racing. Hope everyone gets their cars running and makes the next race May 10th. CONGRATULATIONS to Pat and Richard on their trip to the winners circle. Subject Author Date I would like to thank everyone that help out on the BBS Sat. night, the car did not start out to good but with great driving by Tray and some good tips from Scott we were able to get the BBS down the track. It was another fun and great night of racing at Redline.
