Subject: I was told that they are 23 degree Brodix but you have to assume that if he is wrong about the 23 degree part then he could be wrong with the brand as well. What should I measure as far as valve angle and offset?

In reply to: Gravy 's message, "Check for off-set lifters and rockers. 18 Degree all use them, but some 23 do also. Measure the off-set on both, this will give you an idea of valve placement. Do you know the brand? Brodix, G.M., Dart ? Going to have to be a detective here and track it down." on 11:03:11 11/25/07 Sun

Valve angle is from the deck to angle of the valve stem. offset will be how far over the push rod is from the center of the rocker. Also check how far up the top of the port is compared to the intake bolt hole. (NT)Gravy08:31:52 11/29/07 Thu
