If anyone out there gets legitmately injured on the job, Contact Atty. Debbie Kohl, (Fall River, MA) to go over your rights and legal ramifications involved. She is not an ambulance chaser, only a straight shooter.
I got hurt, went back to work too early and the problem never went away. While working, the state was sending me to specialists, Physical therapy etc,. When I went back out, the DOC claimed I wasn't injured anymore (MRI's and 8 specialist's don't lie). They shut off my pay, harrassed me etc.
Atty Kohl was the only Atty/ representative at the IA hearing, to present the facts not fabrications, lies and have truths as the State and the DOC staff did. This is not coming from a staff person with a disciplinary,or IA history. I actually believed what I was doing was important
and never gaffed. Boy was I naive.
I'm still in pain, but check up on what's going on through the boards. Stay safe and protect yourself because the DOC WONT. I appreciate Debbie taking my case and helping me through a difficult time.
