 Last week June C. Amaral passed. She was the wife of former Superintendent Ronald Amaral and the president of the Correction Officers Wives Auxiliary. This organization and this woman in particular was more beneficial to corrections in the last 45 years than any other organization. Let's not forget where we have come from.
