Subject: Interesting treatment of 2 different crimes..

 A couple weeks ago, a 6 year old Boy from Palestine was stabbed to death in Illinois. A terrible crime, no doubt. The media and authorities were quick to label it a hate crime. Now, this past weekend a prominent Jewish leader in Detroit was stabbed to death. The media and police say they can't call it a hate crime yet. It may well turn out the woman was killed for other reasons. But why so quick to name one a hate crime, and not the other?
