Besnell watched Lanski go and realized that Rayne had his back to him, the Drow decided this would be a good time for a little retaliation. He came up behind the asshole-mage, grabbed his shoulder and spun him around to face him. At the same time his arm came up in a blur of motion, the heel of his hand connected with a satisfying crunching splat on Rayne's nose, dropping the mage to the floor with the force. Besnell kicked him once and shouted **I don't know who you are, but if I ever see you again I swear I'll kill you!** paying him no more attention he strode over to Gener and grabbed her by the throat, **And if you ever enter a conspiracy against me again...** he left the threat open, figureing the elf had a good imagination. Stopping only to grab his cloak he left the tavern, saying back over his shoulder **And keep your demon's mouth shut, there are ways to kill familiars, and believe me, I know them** now he only meant to go find Lanski, he needed to talk to her, and he had some questions that needed answers
