I believe that cell phones at school isn't that big of a deal like people are making it. Sometimes there are emergencies and students need to take the calls. One thing is a phone call and another is texting. I understand how the teachers feel because cell phones do distract students from getting their work done, but the student knows the risk they are taking and they are old enough to know the consequences of their actions.
