Subject: 2.3 Examinations

2.3.1 An Examination Authority ("An tUdar�s Scr�daithe") shall be established to administer examination affairs on behalf of An Coimisi�n. The membership, responsibilities and powers of that authority are prescribed in paragraphs 2.6.1. to 2.8.1 below.

2.4 Board of Examiners

2.4.1 A Board of Examiners consisting of individuals suitable to serve as examiners shall be established in accordance with paragraphs 2.6.1 to 2.8.1. below. From this Board will be selected the persons to form the examination panel when an examination is being arranged.

2.5 Dancers' Examinations

2.5.1 Any member of the Board of Examiners may be chosen to act as examiner on dancers' examinations, but An Coimisi�n will also establish a panel of Grade Examiners for dancers.

2.6 The Examination Authority: Composition

2.6.1 The membership of the Examination Authority will be as follows-
(1) 8 examiners elected by the Board of Examiners
(2) The Cathaoirleach (Chairperson) of An Coimisi�n
(3) 3 members of An Coimisi�n nominated at the A.G.M. of An Coimisi�n who are neither currently examiners nor candidates for appointment as such either at the time of nomination to the Committee nor become such during their term of membership of the Authority.

2.6.2 An Coimisi�n will appoint the Cathaoirleach of the Examination Authority at the A.G.M. of An Coimisi�n.
