Just to set some misinformed people straight on this list.
I don't aprove of discrimination and or any refusal of privlidges that disabled or handicapped people should get.
SMOC does a wonderful job helping these people and I hope they continue to do so. Did you read that last sentence?

It does seem to me that some in the town are going after the wrong people.
My beef with SMOC is not with the American citizens that they do a wonderful job helping but the illegal aliens they help which in the end takes life saving services away from those that truly need it.
Anyone who would think the refusal of services to those needy unfortunate Americans should really look at who the problem is really with. I don't think those in the lawsuit are against helping the needy, but SMOC is trying to spin it that way. Typical SMOC propaganda.
I hope that clears up any misunderstandings on this list on my attitude towards SMOC.
SMOC, let me repeat, has to look at their policy on helping those not approved by the U.S. Govt. to be here and definitely not permitted to receive services entitled to American Citizens.
Are they doing it, NO!
They don't check the immigration status of those who apply for services, and that I got from the mouth of Gerry Desilites.
SMOC because of that oversight, is guilty of FRAUD!
This all hurts the true needy of the community, the American Citizens.
This should be the main reason why we should sue them, and that's what I tried to do at the town meeting last week.
SMOC has to be taken to task for their breaking the law, but it seems that most of the towns people don't see what is the real issue here.
SMOC's Fraud is the issue, not poor or disabled people.
Are we clear on what Jim Rizoli is saying here?
