Subject: I fully agree. Now I have one. How do you hold a title for a state you do not LIVE in?? I think you should live in a state before compete for that title. Time after time girls have come into another state and taken title from girls who actually live in the state. GOOD GRIEF.
In reply to: 's message, "I was reading on another board about a lot of small fair pageants. My question is, how do you compete in a COUNTY pageant if you do not live in that county. Ok so you win. You go out to repesent your title. Then you get asked where you live and it is in a different county. How is that?? I think you should only be able to compete IF live in the county. Maybe it is because of low numbers. But would rather have low numbers than kids repesenting a county they do not even live in." on 03:25:08 06/09/08 Mon

  • Now everyone should know by now that when state pageants just get started most of them are open state for a couple of years until they get up a running. Some fair pageant are open to surrounding counties and some are closed. what is the big deal of where you come from just go and have fun (NT) -- Anonymous, 19:09:01 06/20/08 Fri
  • I guess the big deal is that some girls want it all. They not only compete in all open fair pageants they compete in their own county as well. Even if they win in one they still compete. GGGEEE stay in your own county and let the girls that live in the other county compete, Why do some want it all !! Before you all start on me NO I did not have a DD in any county fair pageant but have been checking this out for my own mind . Was shocked at how selfish some are.
