Subject: Thank you . I so agree. We have done very large and very small pageants. We have as much fun doing them. Well actually we have more fun doing the smaller ones. You see it isn't how many you can win against . It is how much fun you have competing. Some pageants are all about the win. This is not the lesson our DDS should be learning . I want my DD to know that winning is just an extra that the way she competes is the inportant lesson to learn. Talking down children and other pageants is NOT the lesson I would like for her. Small, Medium, or large doesn't matter. It is how you play the game that does. I agree with the first poster. Good Sportsmanship goes a very long way. I don't see a lot of this one some of these boards.

Just do your best and you will have everything to be proud of. Win or lose as long as you do your best you are a winner. The best award you can show is your good sportsmanship. Some of these Mom's posting need to show as good sportsmanship as our DDs. Not matter how big or how small a win is just as important to these beautiful girls.
