Please read this in the nicest way of trying to help. But there are several not so good pageants out there. One of which is TM. It is a pageant system that is good for some but have heard more wrong about it on the boards than most others. Seems to have a LOT of the same winners each time. I have heard that NES is a good one and quite fair. Also Rainbow is slow , low key and qutie fun. Sunburst is a little more busy but still tons of fun to do. You will hear about the good and the bad. Read closely and then if they sound like one you would like to try. Do it. You will know your first time if you want to try it again.
But some stay with a system for years and never get anywhere. My advice if you like a system give it like 2 to 4 years if your DD doesn't place or win then leave that one and try another.
I know some stay with a system for years and never win. This to me is silly and a waste of good money.

I have a different opinion of TM, we have never won state or nationals, Have suprememd at the prelims, But we still love it and will go back, It has a gret system and everyone wnats the TM title, That is why there is so much always said about it.Good & bad things that are said. - Been to several TM to compete and just to watch, there is no rhyme or reason to the winners, ever, not discounting winners, but when a system doesn't follow their own rules, judges are seen before the pageant conversing and playing with kids and their parents that end up winners, and results are never consistent, NOT a system for us, been there done that, hate it, I won't waste my money!
