Sounds like a job for HanDBase 3.0 from www.ddhsoftware.com. The only issue is I don't know offhand the max number of characters allowed in a text field. HandDBase has a desktop version so you could do a standard select/copy/paste the data from the Palm Desktop to the HanDBase desktop.
