If using DateBk4, then there is a feature where you can go into list view and view by icon. If all your birthdays have the cake icon, then you will see a list of upcoming birthdays, and how old each person will be. This is a tip that was documented in the DateBk4 documentation. I like it alot. Also using DateBk4, I always have an advance of 1 week set on birthdays. This way you get a daily countdown a week before to remind you to get that gift. A reminder on the day of the birthday is often to late.
