Subject: Securing PDA data

How many of you are taking additional measures to protect your data on your Palm? I've identified the following options:

1. Palm private/hidden records with password protection and device lock. I know this is a very poor method, and actually may leave you feeling slightly more secure than you really are.

2. "Vault" programs that provide a safe place to store data like passwords, credit card info, etc.

3. Apps that Encrypt data which you then copy into your standard Palm app (like address book) in encrypted form. In order to view this data you must copy it to the clipboard and decrypt it using the encryption app.

4. Hacks which sit between your apps and database, encrypting your data as you save it.

I'm curious what methods people are using to encrypt their data. If they are happy with the method, and which method they prefer.

I'm leaning towards something along the lines of #4, but these solutions are relatively new to the market. I'd like to hear from anybody who has experience with such a product.

Thanks,
Michael Heintz
