Subject: dancing in celtic otr dresses

I am a bit upset and not sure if anyone else has been through this. Dancing in Celtic has OTR dresses, and having been looking for one for quite some time now, I saw a new addition to them, showed my daughter, she loved it. I inquired by email, giving some of her measurements. The response was quick, and I was told that the dress was too big but could be altered for a fee. Ann said to fill out an order form, which I did, which included all my credit card info and a note to put the order through. I did not get a response right away, so I inquired again, waited a day, still no response. I then called them by phone, was told she was at Nationals and I would receive an email tomorrow. I did get my email this morning and was told the dress had been sold! I can't believe this. Did she take the dress to Nationals? Why, when there was an inquiry, would she do this? In my first email to them, I wrote that if the dress could be altered to fit her, it was sold (to us)!! I believe I did everything right and should have been given consideration. Am I wrong to think this?
