I Hear The Call

I feel the call of Summer,
it is tugging at my heart

somehow I hear the message
it will be a brand new start

First will come the springtime
renewal of life, just a small sign

As the stirrings begin to reveal
there is something happening still

May it be a cottage, in country so fair
or in the city, let me breathe fresh air

I refuse to let hope be destroyed
shall fan it with faith, pure with no alloy

Don't tell me you are dying, or life's over
it is not so, you shall yet run in the clover

Laughter so fair, joy bubbles up
then you will realize, God has filled your cup

Winter cannot stay too long
within it's cold, is birthed a new song

Look up, let your heart free to dance
that ole doubt and fear, hasn't a chance

God is in His heaven's, watching o'er His own
Preparing for those who love Him, a brand new home

We who are on Earth are learning to walk His Ways
Tho it is not easy, we shall be changed to show forth His
Praise
