 I wouldn't definitely rule out telling your parents, its the best thing i ever did. Neither of my parents smoke and to my knowledge, neither ever have, but they didn't seem to mind my starting, of course they weren't overjoyed, but they didn't seem anywhere near as concerned as i thought. it just adds a whole new level of comfort and normality to the habit, its amazing! he he
