Good question about if a kid has ever asked to try it. Believe it or not that hasn't happened to me, but there is a girl I used to babysit a long time ago. She is now a high school senior (I'm a sophmore in college now) and we've since become friends and she smokes now. It's really cool going to the mall or out to lunch with her on a weekend and we smoke cigarettes together. She also babysits BTW and loves it.

But mostly, if a kid did comment about it it was "Why do you smoke?" "it stinks" "pee-u" "Don't smoke or I might croak." That sort of thing. Or there were a couple of boys who would just watch me smoke almost like they were turned on by it, but they were a little young for that. I thought they were anyway. Tee-hee.

Also, a girlfriend of mine did tell me a 12yo boy she was babysitting stole her cigs out of her purse! She took care of that!

You do sound like you're really mature and I bet you're an awsome babysitter. I'd say just by your level of maturity and smarts you ought to be allowed to smoke.
