I so agree, Lisa.

It's must easier when u have the support of ur rents.

As teens we are such much more prepared for life than our rents give us credit. Granted some of us r more mature at certain ages than others but even when maturity sets in r rents r almost afraid 2 let go.

It's not just smokin, either. It's drinkin coffee (although my mom was unusually bad), workin after school, datin, drivin, extending crefew, etc.

Kahlan, although ur Mom may not be happy about ur decision to start a least she is accepting of it. Of course, from her prespective I am sure she'll also be glad ur not longer complaining about her smoking. Sometimes I wish my Mom smoked so we could have a mother/daughter cig over lunch. Lisa, does ur Mom smoke? Was she upset when u started?

Thanks for the advise, Kahlan but with my rents it wouldn't be a good idea 2 approach them about my smoking. I would never hear the end of it. My Mom is paranoid about my asthma now and I haven't had an attach in over 2 years.

I know they care but it sure dampens my plans.

TTYL,
Kate
