My cousin Ron called to wish my Mom a happy birthday tonight. I picked up his call, and we talked for a couple of minutes. He knows that I smoke, and asked me how it was going, and whether I had a boyfriend. I told him that I still enjoyed smoking a lot, and that I didn't have a boyfriend. Ron said, only half-kiddingly, "Well you know what they say, Linda - Girls who smoke, they do poke!".
I didn't get mad at Ron, but it really upsets me that a lot of guys (or maybe all of them) think that a girl that smokes is easy to get into bed or something like that.
That's exactly why I don't smoke in public. Although only some girls that smoke are really sluts, all girls in the slutty group at my school smoke, and I just don't want to be associated with them at all. I probably wrote that on this board before, but I just had to say it again because it is on my mind, and I just want to blow off a little steam.
Anyway, I'm gonna take some deep drags on my last cig. now (only my second of the day, by the way), and go to bed.
