Hi Linda,

Sure, I guess I don't mind sharing. I guess there's the usual stuff they warn you about in school... I get winded walking up a flight of stairs (like, I'm out of breath when I go upstairs in my house), and I have a smoker's cough, which is disgusting. My cough got worse in the last half of the exam period and stayed really bad (it still hasn't totally cleared up yet). We had scheduled a doctor's appointment the week I got back, and he said I had acute bronchitis (which apparently anyone can get, but smoking makes you more susceptible and it takes longer to heal). He suggested I cut down on my smoking or quit. I've tried to cut down 3 or 4 times since then, and the longest I ever lasted was a day and a half. It just really sucks knowing that I'm sick because of smoking.

Although not really a health problem, I also had a dentist appointment that week, and she gave me the usual lecture about smoking, but could tell that I was smoking a lot more than when she last saw me (my teeth were that much worse), and she blamed the 2 cavities she found on it... which sucks because I had perfect teeth before that (well, maybe a little yellower than usual because of smoking, but no cavities).

Cassy
