Subject: Graduation Afternoon
In reply to: Niski- Proud Mom 's message, "Brett's Graduation" on 09:08:18 06/10/07 Sun

After Brett was allowed to show us his dorm that he had been living in for the past 7 weeks and after a 1 hour briefing of more information, we were able to leave the base after 2pm with Brett. He was really looking forward to visiting OutBack Steakhouse- however, we couldnt find one so Chili's was his next request. We had a nice visit with Brett while he ate, I think he enjoyed the cheese cake the most, the smile on his face after the first bite was worth a million!!! We had him until 7:30 that night and we had to get him back to his dorm by then.
He spent Saturday with his Big Sis, and relaxed mostly and ate good.
Today was basically only base pass- so he couldnt leave.
He will leave bright and early tomorrow morning to his Tech training.
I just want to thank all of you that have emailed me with such nice comments- it means alot. But I think the best prize of all was just seeing my Son and finally knowing that he is happy and content with the choice he made.
I never thought I would say:
My Son- The AirMan.
