My Daughter won the "2009 Pre-teen State Queen title"In Detroit Michigan. She had a wonderful experience. Her crown is HUGE,Her trophys were very nice and she felt like a Real "Queen".We will never forget the experience. It was an awesome bonding thing that her and I did together.I did her hair, makeup, and chose her dress. It was a great time and we will not soon forget it.Her crowns and trophys are in a cabinent in my dining room.I can't say enough about the experience.I also know that the pageants are not "fixed" because My daughter came in with NO formal training and NO experience,Just a strong will to learn, strong will to win, and even stronger will to have a great time.Sorry your experience was soo different.
