Subject: DO YOU LIKE TO SEE PAGEANTS THAT OFFER BOTH A GLITZ AND NATURAL SIDE? I HAVE HAD A FEW PEOPLE ASK ME IF I WOULD OFFER BOTH AND I WANTED TO GET A FEEL FOR WHAT EVERYONE LIKES. THANKS, KAREN

[> [> NO. I hate that. As a "natrual" mom, I've seen the "both sides" pageants and they tend to be less natural than the "natural" pageants. I like age-appropriate makeup, Sunday or flower girl dress, and hair fixed, but not fake. Those with a glitz side tend to go full makeup, hair, glitz dress, etc. Just My Opinion!!! -- Anonymous, 12:05:50 10/26/07 Fri [1]

[> [> [> You will probably get more contestants, but you need to be real specific about what they should do for each type. I don't see a problem with it. -- Anonymous, 13:15:10 10/26/07 Fri [1]

[> [> I have tried this and liked it. HOWEVER, keep in mind there are different degrees of natural and you need to be specific about what is and is not allowed in regards to clothing and H/M. -- Anonymous, 13:53:26 10/26/07 Fri [1]

[> [> [> tHE NATURAL SIDE SHOULD HAVE LITTLE OF NO MAKEUP AND ANYONE WEARING A DRESS WITH ANY GLITZ AT ALL SHOULD BE PENALIZED AT LEAST 5TENTHS OF A POINT IN ORDER FOR THE GIRLS WHOSE MOTHERS COMPLY WITH THE RULES HAVE A FAIR SHOT AT THE TITLES. THEN WHEN GLITZ STARTS THEN LET IT BE ANYTHING GOES. -- Anonymous, 06:33:34 10/29/07 Mon [1]

[> [> [> [> I like natural pageants where you can wear the glitz dress. You already have the dress and need to get your money's worth of wear lol. Plus, my dd loves the dresses. I like it where you wear your dress but little to no hair and make up. A dress doesn't change your child's beauty. -- Anonymous, 09:29:22 10/29/07 Mon [1]

[> [> [> [> [> This is all great I am leaning towards doing natural only. How does everyone feel about being allowed to wear your glitz gress if you have it? Attire would not be scored. -- Anonymous, 12:46:20 10/29/07 Mon [1]

[> [> [> [> [> [> In my opinion the glitz dress will over power the child with no make up. Its bad enough with the makeup. I could see a glitz dress with no stones on someone with no makeup. I think they are prettier without the stones anyway. -- Anonymous, 13:27:27 10/29/07 Mon [1]
